About Me

My name is Mindy Kramer and I am many things.  The most important part of my life is the starring role of MOM to 3 amazing and wonderful children (ages 3, 5 and 7).  I am also what I like to call a “Recovering Attorney.”  After years of practicing Securities and Corporate Law, I am now a stay-at-home mom for the aforementioned kids.

This curve ball that was thrown to me – to leave my practice and stay home with my children – has been an amazing (and often times, harrowing) experience.  Over the years, I have tried to provide my children with the best of everything – nutrition, entertainment, experiences and, of course, love.  Although I strive to provide my children with a sense of community and the world around them, they have succombed to the consumer-driven lifestyle that my husband and I as well as many of their friends’ families live.  Lately, I have found myself yearning for a greater sense of calm as they argue over things as trivial as who gets to have the “Power Remote” for the Wii.

Since this journey will probably be filled with potholes, setbacks and lots of begging on my part, I thought I might as well share it with those who are interested.  Welcome to my life.  Enjoy.
